Industrial Design
This programme is taught in Czech only
As part of their bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, students will address a wide range of projects ranging from furniture design and interior accessories, through designing various electrical appliances to designing machinery and transport equipment. Through studio projects and expert workshops, students will learn about both traditional and progressive manufacturing technologies and materials, enabling them to find innovative design solutions. The vast majority of studio projects are directly initiated by the specific requirements and needs of manufacturing companies. During the studio training, students can work individually or in teams, which will suitably prepare them for the position of freelance designer or member of a corporate design team. The themes of the selected design projects are deliberately chosen in various ways, which will increase the universal readiness and applicability of graduates in both domestic and foreign companies.
