Polymers and Technology
This programme is taught in Czech only
Modern industry relies on the processing of plastics and elastomers, and this programme will enable you to understand the entire process behind it. You will know the world of polymers, their development and production methods, as well as the possibilities of their practical use. In addition to this, you will work with highly specific polymers such as nanocomposite materials, liquid crystals and intelligent polymers which respond to external conditions. These are researched and developed at the Faculty of Technology as well.
Thanks to the many excursions and internships, not only will you expand your knowledge, but you may also meet potential employers. Graduates of this program are recognized as experts in the Czech Republic and internationally as well. They can find a job virtually anywhere, in any branch of industrial production. You will gain experience in the plastics industry, rubber industry, electrotechnical industry, packaging industry, engineering and aviation all while acquiring the knowledge to produce synthetic fibres, plastic film and painting substances.
