Lower Primary School Teacher Training

A unique five-year degree course that prepares you for a teacher’s course is Lower Primary School Teacher Training. The specialized branch of study includes didactics of Czech language and literature, foreign language, mathematics, movement, art, music and working education and science disciplines for the course units dealing with social studies, national studies and natural studies. In addition to these disciplines, you will learn about pedagogy, psychology, communication skills, school legislation, and class and school management. You will address the specific needs of pupils, schools and the local region and the new, much discussed issues of inclusion in primary school. Starting from the first year of your studies, you will be involved in ongoing practical training in teaching.

- And you can also participate in the preparation of the Zlín Film Festival and the Junior University or prepare theatrical performances or other activities for preschool children
