The main goal of this programme is to prepare students for scientific work based on their previous education in the relatively wide field of management and economics. The students will expand theoretical and methodical knowledge in the area of general economics. They will also acquire the knowledge required for solving demanding issues in the field of management, human resource management, organizational economics of manufacturing, industrial and trade organizations, non-profit organizations, public sector economics, rationalization of production and technological processes. The doctoral programme includes specific disciplines which are focused on the methodology of scientific research, usage of mathematical and statistical methods and working with information sources for science and research. In the course of the study, the emphasis is put on improving the level of the English language and the ability to write scientific articles and present the results of research in the English language.
Graduates are capable of applying the principles of scientific-research work including mathematical and statistical methods. They can use a foreign language and other professional knowledge for solving creative problems in the field of economics and management.
