Membership of International Organizations
Tomas Bata University in Zlín is a member of numerous international organizations, e.g. the European University Association (EUA), which associates almost 800 universities from 46 European countries. The Membership of the Association enables the University to participate in all the EUA’s significant activities which aim to support higher education in Europe. This offers the University a great opportunity to present itself to the whole of the European academic community. For more information please go to www.eua.be.
TBU has also signed the Bologna Magna Charta Universitatum, which, among other things, places considerable emphasis on scientific development and freedom as well as on crossing borders when gaining and passing on knowledge. Another important platform that TBU has become a member of is the Danube Rectors’ Conference, which associates about 50 universities of the Danube Region.
- In 2022, TBU joined the PIONEER consortium, which brings together nine European universities and aims to obtain a project within European Universities Initiative.
- TBU is proud to be part of the European University Network “European Innovation Alliance (EuroInnA)” supported by DAAD and BMBF.
- TBU is also a founding member of The University Consortium International which is a global higher education and research network.
