The Centre of Polymer Systems at the University institute of Tomas Bata University in Zlín is looking for research and development staff.
What to expect in this position:
- Scientific research activities in the field of preparation and subsequent characterization of materials that react by changing their physicochemical properties to external stimuli
- An active approach to evaluating and publishing the results of creative activities in the field of intelligent systems
- Involvement in the preparation and implementation of National and EU research projects
- Involvement in projects with industry partners
- Management of laboratory infrastructure
Requirements:
- A graduate of a Ph.D. study programme in the fields of chemical, natural, or technical sciences or with the perspective of early completing a doctoral study programme.
Graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work independently in chemical laboratories
- Communication skills in English for common working relationships
- Written and oral presentation skills in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Quick learner
- With the ability to make quick decisions based on theoretical knowledge and the latest information

Job Details:
Location: Zlín
Expected Start Date: January 2025 or negotiable
Employment Type: Fixed-term with potential for extension
