announces a selection procedure for the position of Researchers for the research and development in the area of Chemistry, Polymer Science and Material Engineering at the Centre of Polymer Systems, University Institute, Tomas Bata University in Zlin. The position is advertised mainly for the research direction of Environmental Technologies (Head of the group: Prof. Vladimír Sedlařík)
What does this position entail:
- R&D activities focused on the field of chemistry, polymer sciences and material engineering
- involvement in the preparation of R&D project proposals and implementation of R&D projects
- involvement in cooperation projects with practice
Requirements:
- Completed master degree specialized in Chemistry or related subject with a potential of starting or completing a doctoral study programme; holder of a PhD title is an advantage; the position is suitable for graduates
- Ability to work independently in a chemical laboratory
- Communicating skills in ordinary working relationships in Czech and English
- Presentation skills in written and oral form in Czech and English
- Basic computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to learn fast
- Ability to make quick judgments based on theoretical knowledge and current information
- Moral and civil integrity

Job information:
Place of work: Zlín
Expected starting date: October 2023 or by agreement
Type of employment: for a fixed period of time with the possibility of extension
