The e-mail address bezpecnost@utb.cz, which is one of the information channels used in the field of physical security, has been set up for mass provision of information. You can also use this address when sending security-related complaints and information on incidents; however, the address shall not be used for two-way communication.

Physical security at TBU

Physical security has been systematically dealt with at TBU in the long term. The scope of this field includes protection of lives and health of all persons staying on our premises and of those attending our events, protection of TBU property, staff and students, and creation of a safe environment for study, work, education, research and meetings.

As regards physical security at TBU, we focus on all levels, i.e. preventive activities, preparation for effective solutions of security incidents and for subsequent prevention of further negative effects of security-related situations.

Physical security is a complex mechanism that includes a number of elements – both the actual security management system as well as various regime, technical and non-technical measures.

In order to keep up a systematic development and a continuous improvement of the security system used, TBU has taken a number of important steps – elaboration of a thorough risk analysis of all areas, creation of strategic documents containing action plans aimed to develop physical security, and implementation of  a number of projects supporting and developing physical security at TBU.

In the field of security management, the job position of Physical Security Manager has been established, which ensures expertise, methodological management and constant evaluation of the security situation.

As a supporting body, the Rector’s advisory board entitled “TBU Security Management” has been established, which has the task of providing advice related to the implementation of security activities at TBU depending on the physical security-related expertise of individual members of the “TBU Security Management” advisory board.
