TBU Gala Evening to Mark the 35th Anniversary of the Velvet Revolution
8. November 2024This year, Tomas Bata University in Zlín is putting on an exceptional event combining the traditional TBU Gala Evening and the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution. The event will take place in the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Management and Economics on 18 November 2024. The gala evening will present an opportunity not only to recognise the achievements of our students, but also to pay tribute to International Students’ Day and all those who were involved in the struggle for freedom and democracy in our country.
Every year, the TBU Gala Evening is held to recognize and honor the extraordinary achievements of our students. Awards are presented in eight categories, including the best student from each Faculty, the best athlete and the best sports team.
Vote for the best student of the Faculty!
This year, you have the opportunity to vote anonymously for your favourites in the Best Student of the Faculty category. The management board of each Faculty has nominated three representatives who excel in their academic or extracurricular activities. Now it’s your turn – vote to decide which of these nominees will win the award. Only TBU students and staff can vote via their university e-mail.
