Opening Preview of Exhibition of Paintings by TBU U3A Attendees
15. March 2023The exhibition of paintings by senior citizens attending the University of the Third Age is moving from the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic back to Zlín. The opening preview of the exhibition will take place at 4pm on 15 March 2023.
Fifty colorful oil paintings depicting, for example, Zlín skyscraper, Collective House, typical semi-detached brick houses, Morýs houses and other famous building constructed in the Bata period will be exhibited from 2 March 2023 to 31 March 2023 on the 3rd floor of the building of the Regional Office of the Zlín Region, Tomáš Baťa Street 21, Zlín.
About sixty senior citizens who attend painting and drawing lessons taught by renowned designer MgA. Zuzana Oharek Bahulová, Ph.D. worked intensively on the paintings. The whole exhibition has been organized under the auspices of Radim Holiš, Governor of the Zlín Region, Jiří Korec, Mayor of the Statutory Town of Zlín, and Prof. Milan Adámek, Rector of TBU in Zlín.
