Open Day at the FMC

October 2021On Friday 5 November 2021, the Faculty of Multimedia Communications will hold an Open Day in all its studios and departments and will welcome prospective students interested in studying design, film, animation as well as marketing communications. A supporting programme have been prepared in each studio within the Open Day; tutorials with the academic staff and current students will be offered. A part of the programme will be held online.
The first Open Day at the TBU FMC will be held at the beginning of November, because the application deadline to Bachelor’s programmes taught in studios is 30 November. And what degree courses are taught at the FMC in Zlín? Prospective students can choose between graphic and digital design, product or industrial design, advertising photography, glass design, spatial design, fashion or shoe design. Those who are interested in animation or audiovisual arts may select any of the following specializations: Directing and Screenwriting, Production, Camera, Editing, Sound Design, and Visual Effects.
Besides the above-mentioned degree programmes, the Faculty offers studies in Arts Management and Game Design studios within Master’s programmes. Another important constituent part of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications – the Department of Marketing Communications – offers both Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes. The application deadline for Master’s programmes is the end of March 2022.
The Faculty also offers part-time Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes at the Department of Marketing Communications and part-time Master’s programme in the Arts Management Studio.

The programme of the Open Day at the FMC of TBU in Zlín is scheduled to take place from 9am to 5pm on Friday, 5 November 2021.
