Let’s Give a Chance for Life! Join the Bone Marrow Register!

An event entitled “Let’s Give a Chance for Life” has been organized by the Faculty of Humanities of Tomas Bata University in Zlín in cooperation with the Transfusion Ward of Tomas Bata Regional Hospital in Zlín to take place between 18 March and 21 March 2019.

The event aims to appeal to students and staff of the University, who are between the ages of 18 and 35 and in good general health, to join the bone marrow register.

You can undergo the blood tests at Tomas Bata University on the following dates:

• Monday 18 March 2019: building U18, lecture room No. 117, 12noon – 3pm,
• Tuesday 19 March 2019: building U15, study room – café, 12noon – 3pm
• Wednesday 20 March 2019: building U2/111 and U51/120, 12noon – 3pm
• Thursday 21 March 2019: building U13, conference room No. 161, 12noon – 3pm

This year, for the first time, the blood will be tested also in an absolutely painless procedure, i.e. by means of an oral smear.
