Industrial Design Studio Has Won Four Awards
10. November 2020Students of the Industrial Design studio of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications of TBU in Zlín achieved enormous success at this year’s 16th edition of the international contest entitled Professor Jindřich Halabala Awards 2020 in Brno.
Annamária Dovalová, graduate of the Industrial Design studio, won the main award in the category of Furniture Design – final project for her table entitled Masa, and constructed in cooperation with Maesif company.
Another award in the category of Furniture Design – final project went to fifth-year student Rebeka Mališová for her barstool Benny from the Alchemists collection, constructed in cooperation with the Czech producer of bent metal furniture – Kovonax s.r.o.
Doctoral student Sabina Stržínková won the award in the category of Furniture Design – final project with her padded armchair Tammi, produced by Nábytek Jelínek company, located in Valašské Meziříčí.
A special award was conferred on third-year student Barbora Tichá by the National Centre for Furniture Design for her hallway wardrobe Mira.
