CrisCon Conference – Focusing on COVID-19

August 2020The intention of the organizers of the international conference focusing on Crisis Management and Crisis Situations Solutions and abbreviated to CrisCon is to create a space for discussion and invite representatives of expert communities to participate in a round table debate. The conference is scheduled to take place in Uherské Hradiště on 9 and 10 September 2020.
The main organizer of the conference is the Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management of Tomas Bata University in Zlín. The Faculty’s campus in Uherské Hradiště will host the event. The scientific supervisor of the conference is Ing. et Ing. Jiří Konečný, Ph.D. from the Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management, the role of the co-organizer was accepted by the Institute of Forensic Engineering of the Brno University of Technology.
The range of professional sections includes risk analysis, logistics and transport, population protection, environmental safety and the student section. However, prospective attendees were requested to prioritize the presentation of papers related to the coronavirus crisis.
The interest in the conference is evidenced by the fact that there are more than one hundred registered attendees. More about the upcoming programme and other information about the conference will be gradually posted on the official website: www.criscon.cz
