Cancellation of Teaching
15. September 2024Dear students, dear staff, due to the extraordinary situation and events that have hit the Czech Republic in recent days, classes at Tomas Bata University in Zlín will be organized as follows:
- classes and unscheduled events in full-time study, in all study programmes will be cancelled from Monday 16 September 2024 to Sunday 22 September 2024,
- events organised by UTB in Zlín outside the scheduled classes will be cancelled from Monday 16 September 2024 to Sunday 22 September 2024,
- the classes in the part-time form of study will be held on 20 September 2024 and 21 September 2024 as usual, according to the corresponding timetables (in the event of continuing emergencies, students will be informed about possible changes no later than Wednesday 18 September 2024). – The latest info available at Classes in Part-time and Present Form of Study.
Extra for employees:
- In the event that you are involved in the clean-up of damage to your property or are involved in the clean-up of damage in the public interest as a volunteer during the week, you may be awarded paid leave, if agreed so with the department head.
- If you are unable to commute to work because of floods, you will be allowed to work from home if the head of your department agrees to it.
