Mentoring
What is a mentoring relationship?
Mentoring is a professional relationship between two persons – a Mentor (expert) and a Mentee (mentored student). It is an effective way of sharing experience, developing abilities and skills, an opportunity for both participants to develop personally.
How does the mentoring programme work?
The programme runs from February to December. The principle of the programme is to interconnect people successful in their specialization (being a TBU graduate is an advantage, but not a prerequisite) with current students for the purpose of mutual self-development. The Mentor will meet their Mentee for the first time at an initial joint meeting, where both will be given a short training on how to be a good Mentor/Mentee. They can later arrange face-to-face or distance meetings. The programme ends with a final meeting and giving feedback through a questionnaire. If the participants meet at least 5 times, they will receive a certificate of completion of the programme at the final meeting.
