Application for traineeship

General Information

Some of the faculties of Tomas Bata University in Zlín (TBU), especially the Faculty of Technology (FT) and Faculty of Applied Informatics (FAI), offer the possibility to join the practical traineeship. As you can see below, the traineeship opportunities cover many fields of chemistry or IT and are regularly updated. Because all the offered traineeships are meant for students, TBU offers traineeships only to applicants with a student status. That means you must be a student at your home university and remain a student during your traineeship at TBU.

If any of our traineeship offers fit your expertise and you want to be involved in the selection process for a traineeship, please send us the following four documents to the email address incoming@utb.cz.

Documents Required for Pre-Selection
  • Motivation Letter (Why do you want to be a trainee at TBU?)
  • CV – resumé (What is your field of study and expertise?)
  • Transcript of Records (Summary of results from your home university)
  • Confirmation of Study for the relevant academic year.

In case of successful selection, you will be instructed to register in our system called “Portál “.

Documents Required After Successful Selection
  • Student Application Form – SAF (available from Portál)
  • Learning Agreement for Traineeship – LAT (provided by your home institution)
