
TBU Delegation Participates in the Kick-off Meeting of the PIONEER Alliance in Paris
4. March 2025From February 25 to 27, 2025, a delegation from Tomas Bata University in Zlín (TBU) participated in the Kick-off Meeting of the PIONEER Alliance, held at Université Gustave Eiffel in Paris.
The event brought together over 200 participants from ten universities across Europe, including:

The PIONEER Alliance is part of the European Universities Initiative, a prestigious project launched by the European Commission to enhance transnational cooperation among higher education institutions in Europe. The alliance focuses on Sustainable Development Goal 11 (SDG 11) – Sustainable Cities and Communities, aiming to make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.
During the meeting, representatives from the partner universities discussed the next steps within the alliance, specifically within the various work packages. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen collaboration, exchange best practices, and define the strategic direction of the PIONEER project.
