TBU Rag Day 2024
2. May 2024Zlín will once again become vibrant with music and will celebrate the arrival of spring. The largest student music festival in Zlín – TBU Rag Day – will take place on Friday, 3 May 2024, in the park in front of the Bata Villa. And guess what??? The entry to the event is free!!!
This year’s Rag Day will offer an even greater dose of fun and music than last year. Excellent musicians will perform on two stages, including rapper Rest, DJ Wich, DJ NobodyListen and singer Annet X, Slovak pop-rock band Zoči Voči, and the Hospodský bordel band. Attendees to the festival can also look forward to enjoying the performance of the winners of the UniBand Contest, a nationwide music competition for student bands.
In addition to the music programme, a food zone will be prepared in the park – offering refreshments and beer, a chill out zone and a rich supporting programme. Children can look forward to a bouncy castle, and adults will enjoy a traditional contest for the King and Queen of the TBU Rag Day. This year for the first time, the event will feature a contest for the Prince and Princess of the Rag Day intended for secondary school students.
TBU Rag Day is organized by the TBU Student Union and Tomas Bata University. The event could not be put on without the support of the Zlín Regional Authority, the Statutory Town of Zlín, TRINITY BANK – the general partner of the event, and Hitrádio Zlín – the main media partner. It is also thanks to this support that we can hold this event for students and employees FREE OF CHARGE.
