Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs Visits TBU
3. April 2024Jan Lipavský, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic visited the Zlín Region on Thursday, 28 March 2024. During the time he spent in Zlín, he also paid a visit to Tomas Bata University, where he met Prof. Milan Adámek, TBU Rector, representatives of the Faculty of Management and Economics as well as the staff of the Bata Information Centre.
It was the activities carried out at the Information Centre run by TBU that were of great interest to Minister Lipavský. Numerous activities implemented abroad by the Bata company were presented during the meeting, focusing particularly on the Global South countries. In many of these countries, the operations of the Bata company were very intensive and had a significant impact on the development of entire regions. Within his visit to the Zlín Region, Minister Lipavský also explored the private sector.
