TBU Welcomes Markéta Pekarová Adamová
1. November 2023During her visit to the Zlín Region on 30 October 2023, Markéta Pekarová Adamová, Chairwoman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, paid a visit to Tomas Bata University.
She attended a meeting with Prof. Milan Adámek, Rector of TBU, Dr. Martina Juříková, Vice-Rector for Internal and External Relations, and Dr. Pepa Kocourek, Dean of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications, who accompanied her on the tour of the Fénix Centre for Multimedia Technology and Digitization. Markéta Pekarová Adamová explored the virtual studio, a modern 4K wall, and other state-of-the-art technologies that the Centre is equipped with. “I am pleasantly surprised to see the modern spaces and cutting-edge technology available to the students. It is clear that Zlín is once again returning to the map of the film industry, and students at TBU have excellent conditions for fulfilling this goal,” she said.
